This comes after a full week of protests and land grabs throughout the world and different surrounding areas of Cape City.

Police spokesperson Noloyiso Rwexana informed Information24 that “circumstances of public violence and malicious injury to property are below investigation following the protest motion in Khayelitsha, the place a bus was broken and [an] Eskom automobile torched”.

Eskom reported it “fears for the protection of workers after two violent incidents occurred involving Eskom automobiles”.
